Hi Ron. I grew up reading some of your comics (Justice League Europe, I had a subscription at the time) and recently became a HUGE Predator/Aliens comics fan and was surprised to discover your work on the serieses. Just want to say that I really think the work you did on the Predator comics was some of your strongest stuff ever and that it was only hampered by some somewhat disjointed writing towards the end of it. But yeah, REALLY some of your best stuff, imho. Wonder if you have any colorful recollections from the series. Best regards for all you do. Thanks.

hi ron-just bought pages 12 and 13 original art from arak #27…beautiful pieces, will be framed together…..wonderful work…thank you….steven, yakima

  4. Ron – I had the biggest crush on Trekker (and kinda still do,) such a shame your work was so hard to come by here in NZ. I loved your concepts, your artwork, your characterisation, your work is the best!

  5. Thanks, Andy. I am gratified that people still come up to me at conventions with fond memories of Trekker. Trekker is, of course, very close to my heart. Lately I have been thinking even more seriously about getting back to the character. I’d like to get the old material back out in a new, easier-to-find form and also to continue her adventures. If and when I make these things happen, I will do everything I can to get the word out!

  6. Ron, I recently came across a huge collection of JUSTICE LEAGUE EUROPE/INTERNATIONAL on auction and filled in gaping holes in my collection. It’s been pure joy reliving the adventures of favorite DC Comics characters put together by you, Gerard Jones, and friends. Great work! I loved your versions of Green Lantern, Tasmainian Devil, and Power Girl in particular.

  7. Hi Steven– Thanks for the nice words. Sorry it has taken me so very ling to respond. I’ve been so taken up with bringing Trekker back into circulation that it has gobbled up most of my web-time. But yes, the JLE/JLI run was a lot of fun. Gerry had a great feel for all the characters, and he welcomed my little bits of input into the proceedings. Together we shaped stories that really worked for us– and glad to know folks remember them fondly.

  8. HI Ron

I am in Lindas class at Buckman School. I was wondering if you did any Deadpool comics for Marvel. He is my all time favorite super hero.

  9. Thanks, Quinn! I love creating the Trekker stories. So of course I love it when I know people enjoy reading them, too!

  10. Hi Silas, I did work on Deadpool a number of years ago, but as an inker, not the writer. He’s a fun character!

  11. Silas, I did ink some Deadpool comics several years ago. He’s a unique character and a lot of fun!
